Goodbye from our AD.

khillhouseIt’s shaping up to be a fantastic year in 2014.  The 600 Seconds ensemble start performing next month in the Blue Room 600 Seconds program for the Fringe, so check the program and grab a ticket before they sell out.

We waved goodbye to Adam on Friday, who is off to the UK to a new position and have welcomed James Nerva as the new General Manager.  Drop by the office if you are passing through and say Hi.

This week is also my final week with the company before moving to Melbourne.  I’ve had a wonderful year meeting the next generation of theatre makers.  You have all been inspirational with your energy, vision and unique perspectives.  I’m disappointed that I won’t be able to be here to see you all flourish into the amazing artists that I know you will become.

I hope that you will make the most of the opportunities offered by WAYTCo this year.  There will be national mentoring opportunities for aspiring writers, places in the resident ensemble, chances to create new works or perform in established scripted productions.  The classes will continue this year, as will Boot camp and the audition workshops.

It has been an absolute pleasure working with you all and I wish you the best with your futures.

Kirsty
